ALL those mermaid details

Hey guys! So if it isn’t obvious enough lol, I love planning parties for my children! I seriously look forward to doing it every year!! I recently posted on my Instagram account @miabastille asking if anyone would be interested in a detail post about Savannah’s mermaid party decor we had for her 4th birthday a few weeks ago on July 21st and a couple people said yes so I thought… yep lets blog it! …. As much as I daydream about being that Pinterest worthy mother though (HOW does one do that btw?) i’m not LOL but I really try! Honestly I bought some mermaid things that I was super excited to use and I was so busy decorating before the party I forgot to even use them!!! Oh well though, none of that ends up mattering anyway! All that truly matters is the wonderful look of excitement on Savannah’s face when she walked outside of the house and into her party… there’s no better feeling than seeing that beautiful smile of hers!!

Will the real little mermaid please stand up!? lol sorry I couldn’t not say it. Savvy’s adorable little bikini is from Target, brand is Cat & Jack! Her little shimmer & shine flip flops are from Target as well.

These cupcakes couldn’t have been more perfect or delicious. They were made by Suzi’s Sweets in Altoona. We got strawberry and banana flavor, YUM!

All of the aqua cups, straws, table cloths and pink pineapple cup were from Target! The pink chip baskets were from the dollar store and the clear polka dot pretzel basket is from hobby lobby!

Good Vibes! I got this cute notebook from Tj Maxx! I tried to have everyone write their name & address down for thank you cards in here. The fish net and sea shells on the table were from Michaels craft store.

Gift bags were from Target & tissue paper was from Tj Maxx! The glass jar decoration is from Homegoods I believe… I’ve had it for years and it just happened to be perfect for her party!

Between the balloons there is a Palm leaf garland hanging, it was from Target by the brand Spritz. The aqua, blue and purple confetti balloons off to the left were purchased off Etsy from the shop OhhHowCharming. Pink balloons on the right (not mermaid balloon) were from Target.

Savannah was oh so excited about this life size mermaid balloon… I won’t lie to you though it was a pain. I’m not sure if there was a tiny a hole in it somewhere or what the problem was but I could not for the life of me get it to hold helium and stay full but it showed up to the party whether it wanted to or not!! I purchased it off Etsy from the shop CreativeExpres.

Family photos are the best kind of photos. ❤ I had a few people ask where my dress was from,  I found it at Target (of course) and it was actually a swim suit cover up!
